April is a member of the California State Bar and the Sonoma County Bar Association. Prior to joining Carroll Law Office she served as court-appointed counsel in dependency cases, gaining a wealth of experience not only in litigation, but also in guiding clients through the legal process.

Prior to becoming a member of the California Bar April volunteered in multiple legal aid clinics. She worked with veterans to enforce their rights, assisted individuals in complex domestic violence cases to secure restraining orders, and successfully petitioned for criminal records expungement on behalf of victims of human trafficking, among other things. Being a person of diverse interest, April also worked on issues of business and finance.

During her legal studies, April earned a Certificate of Alternative Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s award-winning Straus Institute in addition to a JD. This intensive focus on reaching fair and timely settlements on behalf of clients furthers April’s personal goal of serving client interests by resolving matters as quickly and amicably as possible.
